End-of-Year Updates

Since it’s late October, this will be my last blog post for this year. I’m now doing blog posts quarterly, which has been good. I’m enjoying this change from doing them each month. As we near the end of 2022, I’d like to share with you some Organizing by Cheryl updates!

In-Person and Virtual Organizing. I’m still doing both! Since 2020, I added virtual organizing sessions. They are half the cost of my in-person sessions, and they’re perfect for clients who are living out-of-state or for clients who just want a quick check-in session at times and don’t need me physically in their home or office. With the virtual option, the sessions can be one, two, or three hours in length, but with the in-person ones, they are anywhere from two to five hours. And as you might imagine, I’m really enjoying both options.

Let’s Talk Organizing over a Meal. This is something new I added this year for anyone who wants to meet with me to hear more about my decluttering and organizing philosophy. This could be for a potential client who is on-the-fence about actually hiring a professional organizer and wants to hear ideas about organizing or minimalism or any other organizing-related topic. Or this could be for a current in-person client who wants to immerse themselves in all aspects of organizing; for this client, they might need a bit of coaching in between sessions, and this “lunch ‘n learn” style is perfect for that! In these meal chats, I share a lot of resources and other related takeaways. These meal chats can be anywhere from an hour to three hours! And these must be at a restaurant, cafe, or public dining place; they cannot take place at my home or anyone else’s.

Virtual Chats. I’ve been offering these through two very popular virtual chat platforms: Zoom and FaceTime. These are for busy people who want to spend 30 minutes with me virtually to learn about one specific aspect of organizing. Think of it as the quick-and-focused version of the offering mentioned above. These chats can consist of one person and me or a few people who want to learn about the same topic and who can “chat” at the same time. This is ideal for someone who is interested in one topic, but only has 30 minutes to spare for it. These chats can be done during the day or in the evening. Please note, however, that these chats are NOT virtual organizing sessions.

If any of these options appeal to you, please reach out to me for more details including costs and availability. My contact information is at the top of each page of this website. I look forward to hearing from you! Until then, enjoy the rest of the year!
